YOUTH OUTREACH PROGRAMMING
LVA’s Outreach programs encourage and inspire more than 2,000 participants each year by bringing art enrichment experiences and classes to youth and community members who may face barriers to access. Participants include young people, immigrant and refugee communities, survivors of abuse, and others whose lives are enriched through creative expression and connection.
Projects are thoughtfully tailored to meet the needs, interests, and experiences of each group, supporting individual growth while strengthening the broader community. Our in-school programs connect with core academic content, engaging students in creative and innovative ways. Our community-based programs, including after-school and summer offerings, provide accessible, hands-on art experiences that foster learning, confidence, and belonging.

LVA Outreach Camps
LVA’s Outreach Camps offer children who may face barriers to arts access an engaging space for learning, self-expression, and creative exploration through a variety of week-long workshops.
Our camps combine hands-on artmaking with lessons in art history, the environment, focus, imagination, and practical skill-building. Each project is thoughtfully tailored to the needs and interests of participants, enriching not only each child’s creative growth, but also the broader community.
“I am so impressed with how LVA cover so many corners of our community – and many corners that have been forgotten are lifted up by LVA artists, community teams and neighbors.”
