THURSDAY: The Cultural Arts Center in New Albany will be hosting an artist talk with REDEMPTION exhibit artist Jaylin Monet' Stewart tonight from 5:00 - 6:30 PM
THURSDAY: In comjunbction with the exhibit, Ink Networks, Hite Art Institute’s Schender Hall Galleries will screen the documentary, “Portfolios: Lloyd Menard,” about the prolific printmaker who founded the University of South Dakota-Vermillion Printmaking Department in 1972 and later Frogman’s Print Workshop in 1979.
FRIDAY: Kentucky Fine Art Gallery opens MidLife Catharsis, a new collection of paintings by David O. Schuster, with a reception tonight from 5:30-8 pm.
FRIDAY: The Kentucky Center for African American Heritage opens Jubilation! Ambassadors on a Sacred Journey! A ticketed reception will be held tonight at 5:30 pm.
SATURDAY: Chestnuts and Pearls Art Gallery and Antiques, in New Albany, opens Death Becomes Us, a group show featuring 20 local artists, with a reception today from 1-3 pm.
SATURDAY: MaybeItsFate opens two fall exhibitions: The Floods and The Fringes and Background Vocals. The opening event for both exhibitions is scheduled for tonight, 5 pm - 8 pm.
SATURDAY: Today from 4 - 8 pm is the Grand Opening of Thistle & Moon art boutique! Featuring a group art show entitled (Re)invention, as well as a selection of art and gifts from a variety of local and regional artists.
