Louisville Visual Art (LVA) is proud to bring back the Artist Resource Series, a series of six workshops designed for artists at every career level. Originally launched online during the COVID-19 pandemic to connect local creators with sector experts, the newly reimagined series brings artists together in person to build skills, share knowledge, and foster community.

The series was shaped by feedback from local artists about the real-world challenges they face in today’s evolving legal, economic, and technological landscape. Each session offers practical guidance to help artists build sustainable, long-term creative practices.

The first session, Running Your Business: Financial Skills for a Sustainable Art Practice, led by Glenn Barber, CPA, focuses on the financial knowledge artists need to navigate the business side of their creative practice.

Each two-hour session includes a presentation, a Q&A shaped by attendee questions, and time for networking and community building over light refreshments.

Registration is free but required. If you cannot attend in person, you can register to receive a recording of the session afterward.
