Join us for the announcement of the Bill Fischer Award for Visual Artists!

One outstanding finalist will be selected to receive a $10,000 cash prize. Additionally, five semi-finalists will each be awarded $500 in recognition of their exemplary work. All finalists will have their artwork on display during the event, and at 6:30 PM, the award winner will be announced and all artists will be celebrated.

The Bill Fischer Award for Visual Artists is a $10,000 cash prize intended to make a meaningful impact on the career of a visual artist living in the Louisville Metro Area. The award provides financial support for the creation and exhibition of artwork, and for other professional development efforts.

Recipients of the Fischer Award are selected based on their commitment to experimentation, creative use of materials and techniques, and dedication to pursuing a career as a professional working visual artist.
