THURSDAY:. The Abyss Stares Back, curated by Chenoa Works, opens tonight from 6-8 pm at ArtPortal in the Portland neighborhood.
THURSDAY:. University of Louisville’s Hite Institute’s Schneider Hall Galleries has opened Ink Networks, an exhibit focused on the work and legacy of Lloyd Menard, a printer maker who founded the University of South Dakota-Vermillion Printmaking Department and later Frogman’s Print Workshop. There will be a reception tonight from 4-6 pm.
THURSDAY/LVA Event: There is a closing reception today from 5 - 6:30 pm for Human | Nature at The LVA Gallery. SUNDAY: Maybe It’s Fate hosts a screening of filmmaker Lexi Bass’s experimental science fiction film Meander (2024) today at 6:00 PM, followed by a post-screening Q&A with Bass, a filmmaker and Lecturer in Animation and Digital Art at the University of Kentucky, moderated by Lyall Bush, Chair of Film at Kentucky College of Art and Design.
