THURSDAY: Jeaneen Barnhart has a new solo exhibit at Kentucky Fine Art Gallery, and she joins us in the studio this week to discuss it. Tune into Artists Talk with LVA each Thursday at 10 am on 97.1 FM/Artxfm.com.
THURSDAY: Moremen Gallery opens In Plain Sight, Canaries of the American Soul: Photographs by Edward “Nardie” White, with a reception tonight from 5 - 8 pm. Proceeds from sales will benefit The Coalition for the Homeless.
FRIDAY: The Hite Institute of Art + Design opens Over Yonder: Queer Rural Utopias at the Cressman Center with an opening reception tonight from 5-7 pm.
SATURDAY/LVA Event: Human | Nature opens today at The LVA Gallery, with a reception from 4 - 7 pm. Contributing artists include Lucy Azubuike, Karen Boone, Jessica Chao, Albertus Gorman, Claire Hirn, Devan Horton, Claire Krüeger, Jill Pelto, Elyse Thaman, Jim Weaver, & David J Emerson Young, and the Zoe Speaks Trio will be performing.
