THURSDAY: Elizabeth Foley recently wrapped up her Curate Purchase Inspire Fellowship through LVA, and she will join us this week to discuss her exhibit at St. Vincent de Paul Men’s Shelter. Tune into Artists Talk with LVA each Thursday at 10 am on 97.1 FM/Artxfm.com.
THURSDAY/LVA Event: The 13th Annual art[squared Online Auction Fundraiser ends tonight with a party from 6 - 9 pm in the LVA Gallery. During this event, we will announce the winner of the 2026 Bill Fischer Award for Visual Art. Work from the 5 finalists will also be on display. This is a ticketed event.
FRIDAY: The 2026 Hite Institute MFA Graduates Exhibition will be on view at the Cressman Center June 12-July 3, 2026. A reception will be held tonight from 5-7 pm. Free and open to the public

SATURDAY: Open Air Media Festival (OAMF) is a traveling film/video art screening presented in three cities, the last of which is at The Big Four Bridge in Louisville tonight at 9 pm. OAMF is co-organized by Dana Potter, Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at the Hite Institute of Art + Design, University of Louisville,, and artists include Israel Lucius Barnes, Tiffany Carbonneau, Karl Erickson, Tyson Gentry, Laura Iancu, Sarah Lasley, Dwayne LeBlanc, Lex Leto, Song Lu, Maggie Murphy, Emily Sasmor, clay scofield, Eric Souther, Jenelle Stafford, Courtney Taniguchi, Roy Taylor, Michelle Trujillo, and Masha Vlasova.
