THURSDAY: Art Orr & Martin Rollins discuss The LSA Reunion Show opening at Bourne-Schweitzer Gallery on April 19th. Tune into Artists Talk with LVA on WXOX 97.1 FM at 10 AM.
THURSDAY: St. Matthew's Studios and Gallery opens Fascination!: a new crop of art and fascinators, with a reception tonight from 5 - 8 pm.
THURSDAY: There is an opening reception for Chasing the Shot: Travel Photography Off the Beaten Path tonight from 5-7 pm, in the Julius Friedman Gallery in Archives & Special Collections.
THURSDAY: Schneider Hall Galleries, the Hite Institute of Art + Design opens Spring 2026 BFA Thesis Exhibition, presenting the work of 13 students graduating with a degree in Fine Arts. There will be a reception tonight from 5 - 7 pm.
FRIDAY: The Paul Paletti Gallery opens Face It: A Portrait Show with a reception tonight from 5 - 7 pm. Taken from the Paul Paletti collection (now numbering almost 2000 pieces) and curated by Gallery Assistant Sam Miller.

FRIDAY: The Hite Institute MFA Gallery hosts the opening of Drew Scanlon's thesis exhibition tender fantasies. On view April 13-24, a reception will be held tonight from 6-9 pm.

SUNDAY: Bourne-Schweitzer Gallery opens The LSA Reunion Show, a special exhibition celebrating the legacy of the Louisville School of Art, with a reception today from 1 - 4 pm. Founded in 1909, LSA was Kentucky’s only four-year professional college of art, first located at the University of Louisville, then in Anchorage from 1969 to 1981, and finally at The Cloister in Louisville until 1985.
