WHAT’S NEW

WEDNESDAY: Wheelhouse Art will host a reception tonight from 6 - 8 pm for ROBERT STAGG COLLECTIONS, at The Wine Room at 2704 Frankfort Ave, Louisville, KY 40206.

THURSDAY: SXPF exhibiting potters Lindsey Oesteritter & Autumn McKay join us in the studio this week. Tune into Artists Talk with LVA on WXOX 97.1 FM at 10 AM.

FRIDAY: Revelry Gallery welcomes Lauren Hillerich for her debut gallery show, Hodge Podge, with a reception tonight from 6 - 9 pm.

FRIDAY: Grady Goods + Artpunk Gallery hosts the opening reception of If You Ain’t Right, Get Right!: Badasses of Kentucky Music- new works by father and son, Todd Fife and Malcolm Fife. There will be a reception tonight from 6 - 8 pm.

FRIDAY: Kore Gallery opens two exhibits: Mason-Gianni Stone’s BEHIND THE EIGHT BALL, AND one part of Alana Fitzgerald’s MFA thesis exhibition, Between Two Lights: Re-Worlding After Abstraction, with a reception tonight from 6-8:30 Spanning across two galleries, there will be over 20 paintings exhibited as well as drawings, sculptural installation, and a working interactive raft. 

SATURDAY: And the 2nd part of Alana’s exhibition can be found at the Hite Institute of Art + Design's MFA Gallery at 1616 Rowan St., with a reception from 4-6 pm.

SATURDAY: The Little Loomhouse opens, Fashioned to Carry - A Handbag and Fiber Works Exhibition with a reception today from 2-4 pm. Free and Open to the Public.

SUNDAY: PYRO Gallery has opened RETRO: OLD AND NEW, with a special exhibit: C.J. Pressma's last work. There will be a reception today from 1-4 pm.

Chestnuts and Pearls Art Gallery and Antiques opened The Matriarch Revolution: We Are Not Going Back, a celebration of female artists during Women’s History Month.

The Cultural Arts Center in New Albany is showing Estuary: a Staff and Community Artist Showcase. This exhibit features the artwork of Floyd County Library and Cultural Arts Center staff artists Josh Bleecker, Al Gorman, Jessica Hartman, Bethany Parrish, and Daniel Vance, as well as Fred DiGiovanni, Hannah Durham, and Matt McDermott of the museum’s Artists Roundtable Feedback Group.

What We Need Now, a collection of outdoor installations curated by 2024 Curate Purchase Inspire (CPI) Fellow Lindsey Cummins at Louisville Grows.
