WEDNESDAY: Where Memory Lives: New Paintings by Nancy Wentzel & Charlotte Pollock, opens at The Meadows Gallery in The Masonic Home. with a reception tonight from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.
THURSDAY: Luanne Smith joins us in the studio to discuss Biophilia, her solo show at Pyro Gallery, on Artists Talk with LVA on WXOX 97.1 FM at 10 AM.
FRIDAY: The Hite Institute of Art + Design opens, Maybe Kudzu Covering My Body: Camouflage in the South, tonight at The Cressman Center. A group exhibition featuring work by borealis, Jacob Riddle, Katie Hargrave & Meredith Laura Lynn, Max Trumpower, Elle Hendrickson, Raymond Thompson & more. The reception is from 5 to 7 pm.
FRIDAY: Black Girls, Butterflies, & the Magic of Dreams opens tonight at the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage. There will be a reception from 6 - 8 pm.
SATURDAY: Tori Christensen’s The Colors of Darkness, A Touchable Art Show opens at The Little Loomhouse with a reception today from 2 - 4 pm. Listen to an interview with the artist on Artists Talk with LVA.
SATURDAY: Pyro Gallery hosts a gallery talk for Biophilia, Watercolors by Luanne Smith. Today at 1 pm.
Paired Influence: MFA Students’ Selections from the University Collection is now open at Schneider Hall Galleries at the University of Louisville. There will be a reception on Thursday, January 15, 2026.

The Cultural Arts Center in New Albany is showing Estuary: a Staff and Community Artist Showcase. This exhibit features the artwork of Floyd County Library and Cultural Arts Center staff artists Josh Bleecker, Al Gorman, Jessica Hartman, Bethany Parrish, and Daniel Vance, as well as Fred DiGiovanni, Hannah Durham, and Matt McDermott of the museum’s Artists Roundtable Feedback Group.
