Louisville Visual Art (LVA) provides exceptional art education, vital artist engagement, and uplifting art-centered outreach to improve lives and inspire communities all across the Metro area. Going strong for over 100 years, LVA cultivates new generations of creative leaders with programs throughout Greater Louisville.
This year, our Giving Day again focuses on Children’s Fine Art Classes (CFAC), which have expanded horizons for young artists since 1925. Every year, passionate CFAC teachers nurture Louisville's art ecosystem at the roots with innovative instruction reaching over 1000 students in five counties of Kentuckiana. For 94 years, LVA has kept CFAC tuition-free so that every talented and motivated art student may participate, regardless of economic status (families who are able are asked to pay a small administrative fee). CFAC helps LVA light the way for visual art in Louisville by keeping art within reach of everyone.
Your donation says that you want Louisville to remain a place where any child who loves to make art can learn from the best-qualified among us to improve themselves and our city.
