LVA Urban Paint Out is inspired by traditional outdoor painting events where artists paint landscapes or subjects by observing them from life. For our event, artists may paint landscapes and subjects from life but are also welcome to take a non-traditional approach in their artwork.

This event will take place from 9am – 4:00 pm, with awards at 3 pm on September 30, 2023.
The event will begin at Hyland Glass located at 721 E Washington St, Louisville, KY 40202

Artist participation fee: $45 LVA members, $50 non-members | $50 at the door (while canvases last), registration fees are non-refundable. Become a member of LVA

Your Paint Out participation fee covers one 12" x 9" canvas or watercolor paper and entry into the contest (cash prize).

A 12" x 9" canvas or watercolor paper will be provided - artists are asked to bring their media of choice to paint with. Artists are responsible for their own easel and chair (if desired). Canvases and paper will be handed out during check-in the morning of the event. Check-in and the Awards presentation will be at Hyland Glass.

Artists will receive 100% of the sale. LVA will not be taking commission from the sale. Donations are welcomed and appreciated.
