ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Caroline Palla: Graduating from Zurich University of Art and Design in 2008, Caroline has been in a number of exhibitions and publications. Her
current project, 127 - Imagine a golden piggy bank with no one to spare a dime, took her throughout the Unites States, visiting the world’s longest yards sale, known as the 127 Corridor Sale. “What was interesting,“ she writes, “is garage sales are a part of a Do-It-Yourself culture, where people help themselves and create a parallel economy.” The 127 project traces this otherwise unmapped trade and directly engages in it by translating it into the form of Palla’s own garage sales as artistic
interventions. The photographs from the 127 Corridor Sale hint at fictional contexts, while all the collecting, archiving and inventorying going on suggests something purely documentary.

Robb Hill: Hill’s photography is an exploration of relationships -- relationships between people, their environment, and their circumstance. As a photographer for many years, Hill’s list of clients include National Geographic Traveler, USA today, and National Public Radio. His most current project. HomeLands explores the current East End Bridge construction photographing the land and people in Kentucky and Indiana that will be directly affected by the construction.
