Janet Clements Britt

Janet graduated from Hanover College and the University of Louisville with a Masters Degree in Art Therapy, however, art education became her passion.  She concluded nineteen years of teaching at St. Francis School in Goshen in 2010.  Though St. Francis was “an incredibly rewarding experience”, her time to “color new squares” has led to several artist-in-residence projects with Jefferson County Public Schools and to Fall and Spring classes with talented CFAC students.  Several Open Doors opportunities have led Janet to connect with other community organizations as well. Currently she is working with young artists living at St. Joseph's Children's Home and is supervising them with a fellow artist, Tara Remington, as they design and complete a very large scale mural.
