Cynthia Ryan Kelly is the personification of the social arts activist who uses her talent to inform and shape public opinion. Kelly's paintings narrate the stories of Kentucky families challenged by the mountain top removal of coal in their communities. Her thought-provoking paintings help us understand the drama of this experience.
