LVA's Curate Purchase Inspire Fellowship |
Curate, Purchase, Inspire (CPI) is a Louisville Visual Art initiative created by artist Clare Hirn to support local artists, elevate emerging curators, and place original artwork inside nonprofit and public spaces throughout Jefferson County. Each CPI Fellow partners with a nonprofit organization to develop a permanent exhibition rooted in the mission, values, and community the organization serves.
All artworks acquired through CPI become part of Louisville Visual Art’s permanent collection. These works are preserved, protected, and remain accessible within the communities they were created for. The 2026 CPI Fellowship application is now open! For more information, visit the link below. |

LVA extends our heartfelt thanks to the LG&E KU Foundation for their support of the Academy of LVA. Their $2,500 contribution has helped expand this program for high school art students by adding a new ceramics class at Southern High School. We are grateful for LG&E KU Foundation's continued investment in the arts in Louisville!
LVA is grateful to Arts for All Kentucky for their support of our Adaptive Art Class for neurodivergent students. Their $1,622 contribution has made it possible to pilot this new program for middle school students with learning differences who are talented in the arts. These classes provide small, inclusive environments where individualized instruction helps students express themselves, build confidence, and thrive through art. We greatly appreciate Arts for All Kentucky's commitment to accessible arts education in Kentucky!
