After graduating from the University of Cincinnati's School of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning with a BFA
in 1994, Shawn Hennessey spent several years living in Brooklyn, New York where he works as an artist and craftsman. He returned to Ohio in 1997 and earned his MFA in Painting and Drawing from the Ohio State Univeristy where he continued to lecture on Avant-Garde Art and Rock & Roll for the better part of a decade.
In June 2009, Shawn relocated to Louisville, Kentucky to work with Squallis Puppeteers, a local non-profit,
as well as the Louisville Visual Art Association. Shawn currently teaches Children's Fine Art Classes at the LVAA Water Tower and Fairdale High School.
