Tiffany Hayden Downs is a Louisville Kentucky native who attended the University of Louisville to receive her degree in Art. She has spent the last eight years traveling and working on enriching her perspective of her environment, her soul and her art. Working at the Speed Art Museum for four years, she was trained in Art handling and studied under Joseph Krippenstapel, a glass artist. Having traveled to Alaska, Jamaica, England, Cyprus, and Egypt, she has recorded sounds that make each place distinct and beautiful. Interested in the power sound has on our memories, hearts, and our distinct lives as individuals she has captured each location in unique recordings. Having a diverse interest, her artistic journey has included the making of paintings, drawings, and sound art. It is her goal to live the rest of her life as a artist -- one determined to live with a open heart, always ready to observe, respond, record, and share
