The Louisville Visual Art Association was honored to host the 22nd DinnerWorks extravaganza - a five-week celebration of exquisite visual art, innovative design, fine food and community spirit.
DinnerWorks 2009 included dinnerware designs by 14 of the country's most talented visual artists from Vermont to Hawaii and dinner table artistry by 15 of Kentuckiana's most creative design teams. This year, as a tribute to the LVAA centennial anniversary, Artebella 100, and graciously sponsored by Louisville Stoneware, one table featured eight unique sets of dinnerware designed by eight Louisville artists.
Interior designer Elizabeth Wartham Rallis and Kay Grubola, Curator led a committee of dedicated volunteers through ten months of vigorous planning to provide a splendid roster of events for the entire community. We appreciate the hard work and spirited efforts of the committee, the LVAA staff and Board of Directors, as well as, the generous support of Brown-Forman Corporation and all of our DinnerWorks 2009 sponsors.
