What do you hope your students take away from your class?

I want everyone to know that creativity isn’t an exclusive club, and that formal training or talent should never be a barrier to trying something new. In my class I encourage my students explore their imagination, intuition, and interpretations of the world and help them translate those thoughts into unique artistic pieces.

What is your favorite thing to teach and why?

I love teaching 3 dimensional art as it offers endless perspectives and opportunities for interaction. It also has almost no set definition, making it the most versatile subject and as artists we get to continuously investigate and expand those boundaries!
