Carrie Burr
Photography and Installation

Carrie Burr graduated cum laude from University of Louisville with a BFA in photography and installation art in 2002. After graduation, Carrie continued to exhibit her artwork and received grants from the Kentucky Arts Council and the Kentucky Foundation for Woman. In 2005, she moved to Los Angeles to integrate her artistic pursuits with the healing art form of Anusara yoga. Feeling the need to complete the circle in her education she returned to Vermont to attend Yestermorrow Design/Build School and concentrate her studies there on the holistic approach to living and building. Concurrently, she studied Ecological Economics with Robert Costanza, and Ecological Design with John Todd at the University of Vermont. Carrie's current art project is to document her experiences in a picture-a-day project for a year and researching aquaponics-integrated fish and vegetable growing.
