Paint-Out participation fee covers canvas, contest and entrance to the Botanica ReGeneration Fair.

Parking will be available across the street from the site (handicap will be accommodated)
A 12" x 12" canvas will be provided - Artists are asked to bring their media of choice to paint with. Artists are responsible for their own easel (if desired).

3:00pm – Paintings will be turned in for judging.
3:30pm – Award presentation.
3:30-5:00pm – Sale of paintings
2:00-5:00pm – ReGeneration Fair
1st place award- $1,000
2nd place award- $500
3rd place award- $250
reGeneration fair is open to the public from 2-5pm. Music, food trucks, kids activities, etc.

About the Juror:
Jim Cantrell has been a studio artist in Bardstown, Ky since 1971. Participating in over 300 exhibitions, he has been the recipient of numerous awards & fellowships. He was named Alumna of the Year for Creative Achievement at both the University of Nebraska, Lincoln and the University of Northern Colorado. His work in ceramics, painting, printmaking & woodworking is well documented in such publications as Ceramics Monthly, American Artist Magazine, Who’s Who in American Art. The Speed Museum, The Butler Institute of American Art, and the Evansville Museum of Arts & Science are among 16 art museums that have acquired his work for their permanent collections. Over the years he has juried local, regional, and national art exhibitions.
