Barbara Blaine
Children's Fine Art Classes Instructor

Barbara has a B.A. Degree in Commercial Art and Education and an M.A. degree in painting from the University of Tulsa. She studied lithography with Alexandre Hogue. She also did serigraphs at the University and continues her interest on printmaking today. She taught art in the Tulsa Public Schools and at the Philbrook Art Museum Studio Classes. She started teaching for the Louisville Visual Art Association at various sites and also taught at Artopia and then at Two locations for CFAC Classes. For a total of 16 years, and 27 years for all the teaching. She plays the violin in the Kling Chamber Orchestra, and has done a series of musical instrument prints. Her graphic art has included magazine covers, logos and calligraphy. Exhibits of her work have been at the Philbrook Museum in Oklahoma, Kansas City, Louisville and California. She currently teaches Children's Fine Art Classes at the LVAA Water Tower and Zachary Taylor Elementary School.
