Education Programs Coordinator
Savannah graduated magna cum laude from the University of Louisville in 2008 with a degree in humanities-modern culture, social change and anthropology.
She has contributed her talents and enthusiasm to the Louisville arts community as the Assistant Gallery Director for the Paul Paletti Gallery and then for the Governor's School for the Arts.
Savannah hails from Grayson County and is a country girl at heart though she's traveled to Senegal, South Africa, France and England studying arts and community building. Her love for farming and the environment keep her active with Grasshoppers Distribution Company,
a local farming Co-OpĀ who co-sponsored the Buy Local Fair with LVAA in Fall 2009.
But even before making her mark in Louisville, Savannah was active in social change for the arts having been a founding member of the Grayson County Arts Council. Savannah enjoys creative writing, old records, and traveling the rural south.
Savannah came to LVAA in 2009 as the Education Program Manager running the Children's Fine Art Class program and LVAA's continuing art program for adults. Since her arrival at LVAA, she has been key in starting new sites and expanding the CFAC program to new locations throughout Louisville.
