The Louisville Visual Art Association
and the University of Louisville Allen R. Hite Art Institute present Art Auction 2007

On Saturday September 29, 2007 the Louisville Visual Art Association (LVAA) and the University of Louisville Allen R. Hite Art Institute will hold the annual Art Auction. In its 44th year, the Art Auction continues to benefit art education programs for the two organizations.

A long standing Louisville tradition, the Art Auction represents this community's most prominent fundraiser for art education. The money raised at the Art Auction supports the LVAA's Children's Free Art Classes (CFAC); it
also helps fund the Mary Spencer Nay scholarships for art students at the University of Louisville. Well known Kentuckiana artists, professors, and art instructors donate many of the pieces available for both the live and silent auctions, which take place throughout the evening.

For more information about the Art Auction and other LVAA programs, call the LVAA offices at the Water Tower, 896-2146. The Louisville Visual Art Association is a member of the Fund for the Arts. The Kentucky Arts Council, a state agency in the Commerce Cabinet, provides operational support funding for the Louisville Visual Art Association with state tax dollars and federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
