James Robert Southard

James Robert Southard is a recent graduate (2011) from Carnegie Mellon University for a Masters degree in fine arts. He received his bachelors in fine arts degree from University of Louisville in 2005. Currently working at University of Louisville and Kentucky School of Art as a professor of fine arts. He was recently invited to participate in the International Pavilion at the 54th Venice Biennale in Venice Italy and has also been invited to continue his series Tooth and Nail with the collaboration of the city of Seoul, Korea at Seoul Art Space Geumcheon in January of 2012.
