Barb A. McDevitt born and raised in Louisville, Ky  Graduated at the University of Louisville with a degree in Graphic Design. After many years of living in different states and learning my craft I have come home to nest.  I have chosen pastels because it enables me to be involved with my art by using my fingers as tools.  My journey of working in a piece has not only been intense it has also taught me more about my work and myself.  The things that inspire me can be anything from a flash of everyday life or a creation in my mind.

My work has won local and national awards and is currently being shown locally.
