Color, light, form and texture. These characteristics make up the basis of Barry Wooley’s work. He presents customers with a unique design that reflects their personalities. His strong work ethic and ability to sense his clients’ needs have been great influences in his 10-year experience in the design field. At the young age of ten Wooley began designing for friends and family. They played a huge role in his development as a designer by constant encouragement to think creatively. Having professionally coined the term aroomatherapy, Wooley approaches his work with the idea that life begins at home.  Wooley has written and been exhibited in many publications including: The Courier-Journal, Louisville Magazine, Business First, and Homes and Gardens. Wooley’s corporate clients include: City of Louisville – Louisville Waterfront Park, Pyke-Calloway Funeral Home, Quest Orthopedics, St. Francis School, Clark Memorial Hospital, and The Hair Design School. Greg Grunberg, star of NBC TV show Heroes is among the list of many belonging to Wooley’s private clientele. Barry Wooley hosted Artful living with Barry Wooley on the CW for 1 season and has appeared on ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, STYLE, and HGTV. He also served as a columnist for the New Albany Tribune in 2004-2005. Wooley received the People’s Choice award, Best Decorated, and Best in Show at the Home Builders Association Home Expo in 2003. Wooley has competed in projects across the country and has received other awards including: 40 Under 40 by Business First 2004 and Best of Show, People’s Choice, and Best Entertainment Room in the Home Builders Association Home Expo 2004.
