Deborah Powell and Trisha Johnson comprise Powell Design Group, a local firm that specializes in new construction.  Their work can be seen throughout Louisville’s residential and commercial developments.  Both designers have been published multiple times throughout the years and have also been involved in various design showcases.  Powell draws inspiration from architecture and how it impacts interior spaces.  She also draws inspirations from color and pattern.  Johnson is most inspired by the psychology of design and how space affects the client; she finds her psychology degree useful in every project she’s involved in.  Neoclassical architecture & art are also very special influences to her, having completed research work in England and Scotland.
