Kenneth Ross Hooper, first founded his company in Old Louisville as Kenneth Ross Interiors in 1988, beginning his 20 year career in the design field. The firm has since been renamed Louisville Interiors Design and Décor when it expanded its showroom in Springhurst to 4,000-square-feet.  The showroom located at 10212 Westport Road spotlights warm contemporary décor with furnishings and accessories from makers such as Excelsior Designs, Thayer Coggin, Artmax and Ello. Hooper received a bachelor of arts and science from the University of Louisville. He then went on to extend his studies at the University of Perugia, Italy in Italian art and architecture. Hooper has been awarded the Bellarmine Women’s Council Designers, Show House on five separate occasions (1993, ’94, ’95, ’98, ’99) and also received the Preservation Award in 1993.
